I only did 30 ks today but before I did I had to change my tyre, bloody thing.
It's only the second in about three years..

A beautiful 28 degrees with a slight wind.

Baked beans for brekky again Shaz?

Unfortunately I didn't get out on the bike today. Weather was perfect earlier, but I had a heavy night last night and felt a little on the seedy side.

Heading down the peninsula tomorrow though. Hopefull the weather will be kind again, as Portsea's the aim, and back to Sorento for lunch, coffee at Rosebud, then ... who knows.

I’m up for a Monday ride also, although not nearly as far as you earl. Did a long one on Friday on the ‘Roadie’, which was making some woeful crank noises towards the end of the ride. I plan on riding the slicked up MTB from Bentleigh, South Road, Beach Road and up Olivers Hill return. Not sure how far it is? Probably the best part of 90k return trip. Weather looks as though it won’t be too bad. (I say hopingly  ) Will have a little more freedom on holidays for the next two weeks. Should be good :D .

Unfortunately too late for this year... but next year I sure will be doing it! I love cycling - it is one of the best things to have happened to me for years!

Sure - follow the ATB New rider thread in the ATB forum - I normally post my weekly ride in there :)

Nice one. I should be heading out around 2pm or so. I have just pulled the road bike bottom bracket and crankset apart..... And sort of put it back together. Are you supposed to carry the left over parts with you when you ride?
