I should have gone for that quick spin the other day. Cranked in 100kms today, and I'm still short 20km just on Feb

Bugger.
Today, it is blowing like buggery here and I have decided NOT to go for a ride.
Unfortunately for me, this week we have grandson minding duties and I wont be able to ride much, so Matty will pass me.

I might have to increase my rides down to Robbie's cafe (https://www.facebook.com/piccoloespressomiami/) at Miami Beach to keep my lead. :)

Another solid month of riding from me. :D

I could say a picture is worth a 1,000 words BUT where's the fun in that.

All of last week, I didn't ride as my 29er was getting a $400 makeover which included new bottom bracket with cranks, new front cogs, new rear cluster, 2 new jockey wheels for the rear derailleur and a new chain.
This is the disadvantage of now living in an apartment, I have nowhere suitable to work on my bike, so I am very friendly with Alan the bike mechanic at Giant Cycles in Ferry Rd, Southport.

I did digress a tad, as I was saying I didn't ride last week and I STILL CREAMED Matty. See stats below.
In January I was 112kms in front.
In Feb 138km in front.
Today 164kms in front.

What can I say BUT I am good. Image

An Update: Matty has put in a last minute ditch effort to reduce my lead and the Bastard has. He went out and tested his new cranks etc.

I am now only 124kms in front.

Bastard..................

Looks like I am in front for April and the year so far. You can blame the railway works. Anyway off to Adelaide, might see if I can find Willunga Hill and do some exploring.

I have been passed by a better man at present.

I hope to be back to my normal riding soon, I had been laid low by the dreaded lurgy.

I hope to ride with my 'little boy' tomorrow.

Was a fun month, not sure I'll back it up. Time to get back on the renovations

A brilliant idea, Matty,
Those renovations definitely need doing and if that means that you can't ride as often... then so be it. :D :D

I was checking Strava and saw our All-Time Totals.
Our All-Time Totals are pretty close.

I won't mention that I have ridden 650 fewer rides than Matty. No, I won't mention that. :P :P

June was not a great month for either of us. Matty is renovating and I am grandson minding, so we didn't ride as much as we would like too.
