Frosty passes Matty B.

Postby Frosty » Sun 30 Dec 2018, 6:05 pm

It has taken until the 2nd last day of the year BUT I did it.

I have passed Matty B's Strava All Time Distance.

I can die a happy old fart.

PS: Don't worry about the 2018 Distance, but you can ALSO look at the last 4 weeks Average Distance. I creamed him.

Oh that hurts Frosty, and I think some Gold Coast salt has been rubbed in. Look out 2019. Well done!
Anyway, happy Xmas and hopefully catch up at some stage in 2019.

Ps: there is no retiring from cycling, all records are up for grabs

And, Spuntinos is now gone

I wasn't going to "sh!t stir" you until later in the year, but I just had to post this picture.

Check out the "All Time" figure. How bloody close is that!!

Enjoy your holidays, Matty.
just rest and don't stress yourself out by riding up Arthur's seat. Just sit home and enjoy family time.

No need to stress Frosty, I will be riding. Probably not Arthur's Seat, but something to get some KMs back...

Claude, you are in a different league, usually cranking out bigger KMs then us. Will have to hook up for a ride one of these days. Probably crossed paths multiple tubes without realising as we often cover similar ground.

I am not winning here, Frosty has 65kms on me for Feb. And it's a swim and work from home day tomorrow. Might have to sneak up to the Velodrome....

Doing laps at the Velodrome would be cheating BUT riding up to the Sundale Bridge to view the KING tide is in the 'T&Cs'. I could send you a copy of the T&Cs, which I wrote. I held a committee meeting for amending the T&Cs, but you, unfortunately, didn't show. Unlucky, so I amended as directed by ME.

BTW, that 65kms appears to be very close to 191kms Year To Date... just saying... (I love using those old banking terms... Year To date... brings back memories)
