My first thought was: "So they've finally decided to stop pretending to support the forums". BN's support for these forums seems a bit halfhearted at best. I suspect some of them at least don't like what they've read on here in the past.

They should just give a db dump to somebody who cares to host it elsewhere and add a redirect from the old domain. Hosting fees wouldn't be very much given how little use there is these days.

Heh. No need to anticipate the future. Lets use what we have for the present and workout what we want to do for the future when it happens.

My first thought was that the forums are not just slowing down, they have ground to a halt!
Stay fixed. Keeping a cool head.

Me too. And I realized that I would miss the folks - some of whom I have met in person, but others just known by their forum name.
I'm glad we are back :)

If BV really wants to get more people riding, a web forum where people can share information and have the odd vent is really valuable... I would think.
If it's costing them money for people like me, who don't pay for a sub, to jump on and use the forum, I'd be more than happy to have ads on here. They're everywhere else, so why not.
