Will be a great improvement to the main Yarra trail

Some pretty average comments from bitter non cyclist at the end of the article :)

How many times has that been promised now? Forgive my scepticism about it getting done any time soon.

Remember there is the state election in November 2018 (16 months away) and it'll be close - Labor will be $hitting themselves and need to do anything to retain their govt given their issues with electoral claims, CFA Vs MFB, closure of the car manufacturers, taxi license payouts, youth crime, bail laws, parole laws and the list goes on. Expect to get bombarded over the next 16 months, especially in our electorate of Fiona Richardson Vs Greens

I think I actually enjoyed the comment section of this one! :) people up in arms over something that benefits walkers and mums as well??? Oh the keyboard rage!!

Mind you 4 million for a bridge seems a bit much ... but would be handy.

Go Riddley

At least one reader took Riddley's comment literally. Apparently some people have no sense of humour: http://blog.dilbert.com/post/1627866258 ... -literally

4 million is pocket money.

Look at the Monash. 400 million just to add one lane in each direction for a few kilometres. For what? So they can increase congestion!
That's just ONE road.

Perhaps it's been forgotten by BN. Either that, or they don't maintain their web page very well, because the link in the post above yours from 2 years ago doesn't work any more.
