A 35-year-old driver was caught speeding 143km/h in a 110km/h zone on the Calder Highway.
Before being able to intercept the driver, his speed increased to an alleged 170 km/h.
When we stopped the vehicle, we found an infant and small child in the car.
The driver also returned a positive road-side drug test.
