Why? The same kind of thing happens over well known Aussie celebs over there.

Yeah, but that's America where 'celebrity' has been crafted into a quality more valuable than life itself.
Such a collective swoon from so many across the whole demographic in Australia really exposes our immaturity, no better than starstruck teenagers the lot of us.

...and besides, I bet a million dollars Arnie would have loved to go for a quiet little bike ride around Melbourne in between his public engagements, instead of the persistent snappers, call outs & rubberneckers.
See, I would respect him in a way he would value most, by allowing him some anonymity.
Just a bike & a place to ride.

I guess I thought of the 'celebrity swoon' as pretty common in both places, depending on the individual, of course.

Don't worry. You'll likely get another chance. I'm sure he'll be back...

Oddly enough, I found a Melbourne bike share station at the Yorkshire Brewery development off Wellington St in Collingwood. Talk about out-of-the-way.

Was probably a small investment by the developer to be able to list it as a feature of the building....

Pretty poor on RACV's behalf. Company I work for got notified moths ago re: 2G network closure. It's not like it was an out of the blue change by Telstra.

I use them every day. They've given me an extra 6 months subscription for this. Love riding these bikes around the cbd.
