That's an angry-looking blob, all right. I wish it had caught up to me, as I spent the whole ride home sweating buckets. The BoM picture looks like the rain may just fall on the Bay and the northern suburbs, and miss the coast, but then this is Melbourne...

Well, I copped it. I tried to get clever by getting home just in time, but it hammered down when I was about 2km away, so I had to take shelter at the local shops. Boo! I only did 22km!!

My favourite weather doohicky suggests that the showers should be gone by the time I ride home.

Or I might stay at work until the showers are gone. :?

Nice one. Yep, it should clear

One thing I can't find are the "top 5s" or "Top 10s" of the coldest and hottest days.
Has anyone got that?
The link above only has the 'one' hottest or coldest day and night.
The last time I looked (a few years ago), the BOM told me it would cost money.

Stop the presses!! The forecast was amended at 12:18pm! This is rare
The new maximum is 29. Woo hooo!!
http://www.bom.gov.au/vic/forecasts/melbourne.shtml

And for those of you in Bright, the forecast for tomorrow for the north east district is:

"Mostly sunny morning. Isolated showers in the early evening. Winds north to northeasterly averaging 15 to 25 km/h becoming northerly up to 30 km/h later in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 14 and 18 with daytime temperatures reaching 27 to 34.
