I always have people trying to put clenbuterol in my food! It's usually just next to the salt..

Used by bodybuilders to shed fat pre-competition....

Quick google indicates an asthma medication that helps with weight loss? Not sure why he'd be taking that?

The guy weighs about 40kg dripping wet. How else do you think he sprints up the mountains? I can think of plenty of reasons he'd be taking it.

Clen is well known in bodybuilding circles - it helps to strip fat while maintaining power from what I understand.

Improves aerobic capacity and is a mild stimulant - would be a very useful drug for cycling performance!

But it makes no sense to me - it's an old drug and well known to be detectable, so it's definitely NOT the sort of thing you'd expect to get away with.

Because you can't achieve optimal climbing weight by diet and training alone? Nope. Unless there are other benefits I don't buy it.

EDIT: Just saw Roshea's post. O.K but agree - makes no sense to intentionally take it.

In amongst all the nutters and conspiracy theorists there are some good explanations to why it'd be used or situations where it's been used before.
