As someone with absolutely no qualifications in marine engineering, I'm going to guess a hole!

it is running off Santa.
Today I was riding through sprinklers in Broadwater Parklands.
It was either that or go for a dip at the Spit, but I thought that the surfers would be peeded off. :)

I took my old cx bike for a quick loop around some fireroads in the Grampians today. Some tracks were too gnarly and required walking but it was worth finding some roads that challenged me. Also, the sheer joy of bombing down a gravel road, spinning out in top gear was a highlight. The relatively cool morning air was very pleasant after the heat of yesterday. It felt great to get back out in the bush after a year in Melbourne. The visual aesthetics of the natural bushland, surrounded by mountains and cliffs, enhanced the mood of the ride beyond what I can find back in the city.
Still posting. Still riding.

Matt1,
Seems a very enjoyable ride.
My body is more suited to the flat, shared paths. :D

A quick 25km with the Boy on the back of the bike before the day hotted up on us. The northerly towards Craigieburn on the path got a bit difficult but whoosh helped push us home with the slight decline in elevation, or at least felt that way. No roos, lots of bunnies.

1st ride for 2019.

Another magic day riding. I encountered 2 brief periods of drizzle. It was beautiful riding in the drizzle. It kept the crowds down.

My normal route: Lands End - GC600 Park - Surfers - The Spit - Coffee at Café Rockpool - Lands End - ride #30 - morning ride - drizzle - 22-27deg 6-24kph S
Distance ridden: 44.97km.

Photo 1 - 8:04am - Today's weather photo at Surfers was about 200 meters north of my normal spot, as the council is setting up for some event. (Magic Millions - horse race stuff???) Doesn't interest me..

No Garmin on today (not sure where I left it.... :?) but think about 55-60km of path, road, and gravel with fattima. Good weather for it. Good mix of surfaces, although it's been a while since skinny tires on gravel so I was rather cagey and slow on that, esp cornering and descending.

Bunnies spotted and one very dead fox.
