Out at Sunshine on Sunday helping riders box their bikes to head west. Everyone seemed keen to get there and get riding. Quite a few taking advantage of the "excess kg" option box. Thing to remember is that it all needs to either fit in your bag or on the bike.
This time next Friday will be the start of 10 days of adventure .I have just spoken with a local, light drizzle this morning, expect it to become fine for the weekend. The Figs are ripe and there is a tinge of green appearing over the paddocks.I will not need the rose tinted glasses.Looking forward to Friday night. Good work Grumpy - weighed the only bag that will take all our airbeds yesterday and came to 12kg, with no room to add anything else, so same dilemma as you. Hoping my scales weigh heavy, but glad to know there is some leeway with the weight distribution. 6 more sleeps!!!
Grumpy is home Subiaco West Australia.NO RAIN just SUN,the mob from Cairnes took photos of the sky which they sent back home as they had not seen blue sky for many mounths.Ride was great FUN,Grumpy and Grua are looking forward to the next one Grumpy
Have to agree with Grumpy, weather was fantastic! This would have to be up there as one of the best multi day rides I have been on for a long time. Thanks to vollies and organisers and everyone for a great 9 days including the good folk of WA!
