Well done Annie. I can't say I know anyone specifically but went down to Williamstown to watch the Criterium races and some of those girls were fantastic.

In case women are looking for a genuine alternative re bike fit, they should at least eyeball www.bikefriday.com/petites and www.bikefriday.com/women
I work for BF but was a customer for years before that, riding a Diamond Back I could never get to fit me until I got over my prejudice against small wheels and looking different (god am I glad to be past all that).
Posting this because women should be given info about all viable alternatives in order to make an informed choice. I suffered for years on an ill-fitting bike. I refused to deal with both toe-overlap and carrying two different tube diameters for a Terry bike with small front wheel! They were the only options available in a performance bike at the time.

Could you seriously miss Beryl Burton. The only woman to beat the men outright without question at a serious endurance sport. A star and a personal hero of mine. (and if anyone was silly enough to wonder not remotely my type ) )


Liz Randall. She has absolutely destroyed me in a couple of time trials. Ok beating me aint that hard. But she is giving me a few years as well and she makes it look easy

A very good time trialist from the UK, and is like me. Her step-father was in Melbourne at the beginning of the year, and happened to call into Startline while there - Startline - so Caren sent me a couple of emails as they spoke. Pity I was in Sydney at the time ... otherwise I would have TT'ed down to Startline to join in the conversation!
Disclosure can sometimes be a wonderful thing.
