The Dirty Deeds CX crew is running three, yes three!, development days for women this year. :D

First one is tomorrow at Darebin Parklands at 10am, followed by a Mother's Day special on Sunday 12 May and skills on Saturday 18 May. Best fun you can have on a bike and very user-friendly crew. If nothing else, a good giggle and handy skills for the commute.

Thanks Wendy!

Come one and all, there's no cost, it's insured by CV and we can guarantee smiles.

Alrighty

I had my flat bar commuter stolen about 2 months ago and just replaced it on the weekend on a total whim with a CX bike A) becuase I bought a roadie last xmas and had gotten used to drops and B) my commute takes me on a mixture of gravel, road and shared paths

But as a semi retired runner who has done and enjoyed heaps of cross country running this CX business looks like it could be fun so I'll pop down to the skills session on Sunday and christen the currently very shiny and new bike.

Em! Sorry to hear about the theft, but the replacement sounds much better.

You missed the Mother's Day session (yesterday), but you're in luck, there's one more session this saturday the 18th of May, 10am, Darebin Parklands.

Well, that was fun :D

Got the hang of the individual skills reasonably well, but then the little mini race, what a mad scramble!!

So much fun.

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to show us what it's all about.

I was the newbie in the yellow rain jacket.

I did think about 'Melbourne black' but it's a tautology. :)
I so need another pair of wheels for this machine; will be too much tyre swapping this year.

FYI: CX-Women is up to 19 pre registered so far and Open-Women is 5. Pre-reg closes at 730pm Wednesday night.

There will be spots available on the night most likely, but early reg helps us sort out the running of the night and grading etc.

Don't miss out!

Tried to enter this morning but I don't have a licence so I can't as the entry form asks for a membership number which I don't have. I'll need to buy a DDCX licence on the night as I've only got a Silver CA membership.

I can register on the night can't I?

Select DDCX season licence.

Put TBA as the licence number.

Buy Season licence on the night.
