World Tour

Postby fixie » Mon 03 Aug 2020, 6:23 pm

The season effectively restarted on Saturday with the Strade Bianche. Didn't see or hear of much Australian representation but Mitchelton Scott were to the fore in the women's race with the winner in VanVleuten supported by Amanda Spratt and the rest.

Wout VanAert won the mens race commandingly. I think he has arrived.
Stay fixed. Keeping a cool head.

Mitchelton Scott are in a bit of strife. Nearly sold to some 2 bit Spanish outfit before Gerry got cold feet and found some cash to keep it going.
I expect a bunch of riders to leave, Affini has already gone. Adam Yates expected to leave, Impey perhaps as well.
