My most humble and sincere apologies for my "lack of consideration for others" pace up Canterbury Rd this morning.
Thank you for those that reminded me that it was "Friday Fun Day"

Also honourable mention goes out to Bob for his recruiting effort mid-ride!! Well Done.
Enough of this forum nonsense. I'm going riding!!

I'm blushing - it was nothing but one riders encouragement to another (whatever Chick Gosling/PsyberG thinks was going on)

Great to be back on the MRR after some time off and to see familiar faces again. It was fresh, the Garmin recorded an average temp of 0c!

Unfortunately observed some questionable behavior on the ride this morning including overtaking on the inside while passing a parked car, people not holding wheels/drifting backwards plus dodgy red light decisions.

Especially in light of recent accidents, it's really important that everyone ride safely and look out for each other. Please be careful out there.

Thanks for the ride all, hope to get out there more regularly from now on.

People were asking about getting new Team FlexorCranks gear, so the shop is re-opening, but only until 12/6. That means you have less than 2 weeks to get your orders in - got it?

Is this ride still operating? I thought that i would try and get out next Tuesday, just for a cruise and coffee while I try and start up to get some fitness back.
Stay fixed. Keeping a cool head.

It is (though I haven't been for quite a while due to a hip injury :-( )

This thread seems to have moved to Facebook, if that's an option for you:

Today is the 10th anniversary of our first ride. It's been a lot of kms, a lot of coffees, and a lot of laughs, so thanks to everyone who's been part of our MRR family.

10 years WOW. I can't believe it's been that long. The closest I get to it now is watching riders on dead man's as I'm driving to work. My last participation was the raffle draw for Angelo.
It is great to have seen and been part of your initial idea, grow from when there was often only one or two of us, into an established everyday ride, roshea.
