After a week in the car I dragged my sorry self out despit the threat of rain Put my rain jacket on at AA by the top of Deadmans I was wondering if it had been a smart move....
However by Doncaster Rd I knew it was the right move. The mice had grown from two at the start to more than 10.. But no Gorilla or BowieSO HH 2 Bowie and Gorilla too soft
Nice Coffee with Gordon Bones and Michael

Hi all,
What's the current situation on groups. Are the hares and rabbits running every day, or only certain days?

Cheers.

The pace of the slowest group is currently Rabbit+, which means the Rabbits run every day.

I am thinking of taking up riding soon. One day..
But won't be expecting to ride in any of the groups any time soon.

Nice weather and good size bunch for the Mice/Rabbits (not sure which) this morning, but I have to ask what happened to the regroup on Belmore Road before Coles? There were several riders back who are new to the group and the bunch just kept going.

Some of us regrouped ....
Rolled around with Grant and Gordon, Bowie was out but behind me on Belmore and Fintona (despite some sneaky attempt to get past me) The Groilla has become a discarded banana peel so HH 2 Bowie a commendation for getting out and Gorilla softer than a marshmallow
Mice 5:55 Rabbits 6:00 Hounds 6:05 although the rabbits are very houndy these days

Recovery ride today was on 25.4 pace (MRR Acorn segment), so about right.
Points: Belmore - Bowi, Fintona - HH, Canty - Gorilla, proving that if you can't beat 'em, make up a new segment. :)

Fintona - Yes! The planets aligned - keen riders, north wind, emptying bidons, on-course commentator to rev em up, and it was awesome to watch Bob and Michael with HH chasing, and some of them smashed out Fintona on 29 and 32 secs. Sweet! 8-)

Was slightly late this morning  soloed until the top of Belmore where I passed the Gorilla and found Bowie's wheel, he was unaware of my presence until we were rolling to the lights at the start of Fintona. I boxed him in then accelerated hard, he never stood a chance
Great morning for a ride!

This was the view from the rear of the bunch as they accelerated from standing start up Fintona this morning.

Finally rode with actual people this morning. Almost a perfect morning for a ride & coffee.
Heard there was an accident at the top of Elgar's. Hope everyone's okay.

Kunal came off and banged his head, he was carted off in an ambulance with a bloodied face it was not pretty :(
On a brighter note I have just heard he is being released from hospital :D

Good news.
Today was another one of my comebacks, and news of the crash was very disturbing.

Hopefully he will heal up quickly and thoroughly.
