A great excuse for me to get the fam out, they're riding the steam train, while I'm riding the MTB.
Should be fun.

This year's event is on the 15th of November.

I did the non-competetive ride last year, with a 6 and an 8 year old and it was a lot of fun. I did it on my flat bar roadie commuter, which wasn't ideal, but it coped ok at the relaxed pace of the kids and nothing broke. I'll likely do it again this year.

Thanks for posting, as I have a mate with an autistic son who loves steam trains.
How much was the entry? I can't seem to find that info on the website.

Unfortunately I can't make it this year, which is a shame because I really enjoyed it last year.
