Great to meet a few of you! Thank you for sharing some wonderful art. :)

Those pictures from Baudman make me realise that, even though I was there, I still missed some of the pieces. There was so much to see! :D

I managed to get home in okay time, go to a wedding expo and THEN ride both my horses. It was a long, but very enjoyable day!

Ok, some pics of things I liked - but there were too many, really, and baudman has captured a lot from the earlier part of the ride. As well, my pictures weren't very great given my phone + lighting. Click little pics to link...

One of my favourites, of course, was (as I like to call him) Simon Pieman:

It's not a good shot of it, but I loved this green man - he was one of a few different men in different colours...

This is just part of the huge display at Fair Share -

There were more, but you get the picture. Almost time to hop on the bike and go out for lunch. This spring cleaning works up an appetite.

Looks like it was a visually interesting ride!

Would have liked to join, but the social director had that Sunday booked...

You can vote for the People's Choice in the art trams (none of which I've seen in the flesh) - https://www.melbournefestival.com.au/co ... ice-award/

Thanks for that. I've seen at least one this morning (the Gabriella Possum Nunguarryi one) and possibly also the Rone one. They are a breath of fresh air around the city. :)

Being that I was overseas at the time but did a very similar tour (on foot) whilst in Buenos Aries I am wondering as to whether there was a prospect of this ride being done again (maybe later this year) or arguably as to whether someone could share the route which was taken, because I've got to be honest - I've become extremely impressed with the work that some of these "Artists" can come up with!

Yep. It's down the bottom here:

If that doesn't work for you let me know and I'll dig up something else.

It is well worth doing something later in the year because since we did this ride I have seen some more recent good stuff in Hawthorn Camberwell area, and I am sure that others will have discovered some newer stuff in other places.

We seem now to have entered the era of the Melbourne Street artists. :D
Stay fixed. Keeping a cool head.
