I'll try, Weeeeeee... but I rarely log in to Strava, as I mainly use it to look at climbs (hello Hotham and BoF), and don't tend to make any of mine public. I can always send you my Garmin info if you remind me, or someone else on the ride may have data for you.

I will log the ride on the Garmin but I don't have Strava.

And my fiance showed me some absolute beauties near and around our house (Richmond), including one which I think might take the prize of the day, so if Canuck lets me, once we get to Richmond I'd love to show you them. They are all within 2 or so blocks of each other (we walked to them all in about an hour after dinner) around Victoria and Church Streets. Bike lanes and quiet roads (hopefully) aplenty. :)

Sounds like a plan, SN.

+1.

I've organised the leave pass, and I think my cold will be sufficiently behind me.

The List

Canuck (still thinking about my intended site...)
weg
Summernight (will confirm closer to the date)
baudman
Poida (will confirm after Sat ride - but looks interesting)
Marti - I know little of art or graffiti but the ride sounds fun!
fixie

Just realised I had fallen off the list. Back on and see you at 9:00 Fed Square. Now, what to ride? :?

Guys, sorry I need to pull out. I have to do an all nighter at work 10pm - 9am and will be in no fit state to ride around.
Unless you want to keep picking me up every time we stop.
Would love to do this if it is scheduled again sometime.
Have a fantastic ride.
Cheers Poida

EDIT: Never mind. Found it. Whoops. :P

Thanks, all, for wandering around with me. Perhaps some ride reports after we've all looked through our pics..

Thanks Canuck for organising, and everyone for finding sites and navigating us around. Really enjoyed the works, in great company. And yes, might take a while to get through the pix.

Great morning - sorry I had to bail - SWMBO's marathon training continues unabated.

Sorry I took you on a goosechase at one point, but I found the one I was looking for on the way home.

That detour was minor and we were amply rewarded by the range of the other things we saw both before and after you had departed.

I think the topic should be upgraded to Melbourne Street Art ride. :D

Thanks again to Canuck for the initiative and thanks to all for the good company.

Nice pics, baudman! And had I known that was the one you were looking for, I could have helped...I see it (partially) while on my commute, sitting waiting on the lights at Wellington and Johnston. Makes me think of the human centipede, though

Really, thanks to weg for planting the seed for this, and everyone for sharing stuff :)
