The Slog 2012
Saturday November 10th marks the tenth year of The Slog, and to help celebrate we are proud to announce the addition of a new 100km route. This means that riders can now choose between three amazing legs - the beginner friendly 70km route, the all new 100km route and the beautifully scenic 150km route!

We are excited to be hosting another great day of riding and fun for the whole family. This year our focus is to provide a safe & enjoyable day while raising a record amount for the 4Cs. With this year being our 10th anniversary you can count on The Slog 2012 being the biggest and best yet!

About Us
Held annually, The Slog raises much needed awareness & support for the local charity, The 4Cs Crisis Relief Centre.

Over the past 9 years, over 900 riders and our sponsors have helped us raise more than $185,000 for this fantastic charity. The Slog prides itself on being one of the most supported rides on the cycling calendar, we care about each one of our riders.

Had an absolute blast in 2011, I'll be back for the 150km, a great ride and a great way to spend the day!

I enjoyed this ride a lot last year, and I will seriously consider giving it another go this year.

Add me to the list of those who have really enjoyed previous Slogs. Plan on doing it again this year, although only the 70, or 100 km version as my daughter wants to ride with me. She had already said ok to the 70km route and is open to considering the new 100km one.

Hey Matt, yes the 150km and 70km legs will remain the same, however our new 100km route will deviate away from the 150km route and rejoin it after taking a 'short-cut'. Full map details will be released on our new website soon.

Keep an eye on http://www.theslog.com.au/

I definitely will be trying to do this ride again this year. After enjoying two rides of the old route, and that was along the highway to Sale, the new route should be even better. Let's hope nothing clashes with it for me this year.

I'm keen for this one as well, glad to see the date is not going to be a clash for family committments in November this year like last.

Has there been an email newseletter lately? I joined the mailing list back in March / April before the new look website and haven't received any as yet? I'm guessing you'll email when the opening date for entries rolls around?
