I know that Frosty has contacted the powers that be, since he seems to be the only "active" moderator (or at least the only one who regularly posts) and will be going away soon.

Some forum users will be sent an email by me inviting them to become a moderator. I was going to send it yesterday, but didn't.
I plan to do it in the next couple of days because roshea is correct I will be on holidays from June to July.

Umm...I spend enough time on BV as it is (when I'm supposed to working...like right now  )

Moderating will take away even more productivity. Although it would give me the POWER!!!

So what does a Bicycle Victoria forum moderator do..?

Prevent coarse language?

A moderator's job is to take care of all the necessary stuff that keeps a forum running and never get thanks. Then when a moderator does something that's mildly controversial, it's all the moderator's fault.

Bit like a healer in WoW really, all the responsbility with no thanks.
