Pin striping

Postby jvb » Thu 31 Oct 2019, 8:54 am

Had my vintage Zündapp tank pin striped. This was done by hand. Looks great.

That looks really good.

I hope that you can let us know who did it.
Stay fixed. Keeping a cool head.

Dying art so hard to find old school sign writers. I'm in the process of completing the purchase of an Historic 1979 Australian Formula 2 Cheetah race car that I want to return to the original livery. To do so will require a skilled sign writer such as above!

It was done by 'Pinstriping by Julz'
When you google it, her website will appear at the very top.

Thanks jvb. Now saved in my favourites!

Edit: Just looked through her gallery of work done and noticed the VW Bus car transporter. Saw this at the German car show at the School for the Deaf a few months ago and can attest to the quality of her work in person!

I'm in the process of putting it back together now.
I've rebuilt the engine, 250cc, 2-stroke. I've had the cylinder honed and put in an oversized piston.
Repainted and re-chromed. Lots of aluminium to polish as well.
You can look it up, Zündapp Elastic 250, plenty of pictures online.
I'll post some here when I've made some more progress.

I remember when bicycles used to have pin striping!
