Re: Why are the Forums slowing down?

Another reason why the forum may be slowing down is that the lost password code appears broken! Tried this numerous times over the last few months to no avail plus tried the contact us form. I was only able to get my account unlocked by contacting David via FB who is also a member here yesterday and...

Re: How was your commute today

As an experiment, whilst holding the bike and crank with one side down lean the bike that way. You will see it doesn't take much for the pedal to touch the ground. Which is why when navigating either a tighter corner or a a corner at speed to stop pedaling and raise the inside pedal. Helps with weig...

Have spent a lot of time in those southern states as far East as El Paso. Lots of empty space!

Enjoy the trip!

Re: RIP - UJ1

Been away and just saw this now. Very sad news indeed. Sincerest condolences to all who knew him!

I never met UJ1, but like Wagger this has hit me hard. Something about loosing one of our small but tight community here!

Nice Frosty. Thanks for rubbing it in...

Though I am heading up to the snow for 3 weeks - if you can't escape it, may as well embrace it!

Re: How was your commute today

Officially down to a one car household as of today. :D Been one car for about 12 years now. Rarely wish we had another. We are back to one car now again... Don't miss the second car. When we need it, taxi or rental car. Vastly cheaper than owning a second car. Looks like I'm going against the trend...

I just wanted to raise awareness that my local velodrome in Noble Park at Parkfield Reserve is up on the chopping block.

Wow. Wasn't even aware of this one! Hopefully it can be saved.

Not good. Not sure where you are, but I'm in inner East and I have a good supply of MeFix and tubular netting if you need some?
