Re: How was your commute today

Is it just me or has Wellington got a bit stupider crazy busy in evening peak? :| Now for cookies and milk. Congrats...pity about the...

Re: How was your recreational ride today?

I went on an "overseas cycling tour" this weekend with a few friends. Phillip Island is overseas, isn't it? This was a self-supported ride, and we were taking tents & food/cooking gear to be self-sufficient. Leaving Ringwood on Saturday, we ventured on the Dandenong creek trail, ...

Re: BN Membership - Convince me to renew

I'm in the same boat as rgcrgc. I think I'll be letting it go this year. Bicycle NSW is another option. Why go for a body that will eventually be taken over by BN. Try ACTs pedal power and support the smaller bodies I've been a Bicycle Queensland member for 4 years now...lower premium, lower excess...

Re: End of Trip Facilities - Melbourne

It's a bit far away from SCS, but the gym at 750 Collins Street has basement showers. There is also a bike cage there - not sure if the gym membership/showe/locker swipe pass could get you into the bike cage as well...

Re: A new bell - Knog "Oi" on Kickstarter

I like it & if priced appropriately would acquire. As others have mentioned I'm perplexed why they're using kickstarter though. It's free working capital for confirmed orders. Why wouldn't you use it if you're a small business? Ritch Fron the Knog website: LAUNCHED IN MARCH 2003 BY HUGO DAVIDSO...

Re: Pumps!

I got that pump as I needed to be able to pump nu my tyres to high pressure out on the road, and I couldn't manage that with other hand pumps. This one lets you put pressure against the ground, so you can pump tyres up to 90-100 psi. The only other way for me to achieve that is using gas cylinders
