Hey Dale,
Yes, you have spotted me!
But not before dawn, that must have been another version of the "Yellow Jacketed commuter"
This particular species can't make it outside early in the morning (still in hibernation, under the covers!)
Any weather, but not before sunrise.

Amazing! I only have to have a couple of days off work sick, and the "Commuting Newbies" thread has grown to 45 pages. I do enjoy all of your comments. I commute to work a couple of times a week and I find the forums to be a great source of inspiration. Keep up the good work people. Cheers!

I will book in this month to get the $80 bike - for my son who got his bike stolen earlier this month (not happy  ) So I ho...

Thanks everyone for their comments - quite a variety of thoughts from all of you. I think I will go the road bike, maybe flat bar road bike. ALL my riding is on the road, not on tracks, and I really want to start to go for longer rides also. I will probably also keep the hybrid (although I told my h...

Hybrid or Road bike?

I have been commuting to work a couple of days a week for the last 18 months on a Giant Elwood Hybrid bike (10 km each way). I have been thinking about getting a road bike (just an entry level Giant, or similar). I have done a few longer weekend rides (up to 40 k, plus the MAD ride). Also, I will be...
