Re: How was your commute today

Wet roads but no rain for the ride out to the shops this morning. I enjoyed the peace and tranquillity on the streets from the lack of motor vehicles, not to mention the opportunity to stretch the legs and get some fresh air. Light rain for the ride home but my wet weather gear kept me warm, dry an...

Yes, that will be the plan, I think. Post lockdown of course.

Re: How was your recreational ride today?

13yo son has discovered strava. Now he's riding every day trying to get trophies and aiming to knock off a "local legend" or two. Good on him. Soon he will be beating his Dad.... Maybe not for a long time. :) I'm going to have to get him a new bike. He's out grown his MTB and he's borrowi...

Re: How was your recreational ride today?

Actually just figured a way I could just do it. 1 hour ride each day. Then https://images.scribblelive.com/2020/9/4/7f59b2ae-c976-4e38-8a45-36234dd3ae77.png Could knock another 15km a day riding with my son ... https://media3.giphy.com/media/d3mlE7uhX8KFgEmY/giphy.gif

Almost summer-like today. Very nice before the wind got up.
Took the youngest for his first ride around hawthorn velodrome.

Re: Melbourne lockdown

I'd rather use the 1 hour to be riding every last minute of it, rather than wasting it on getting a coffee. It does help, having a decent machine at home - but even that broke down last week  and I'm waiting for a part to fix it (giving it a crack fixing it myself). Long live the Nanopress in t...
