Re: Progress of Darebin bridge

We have an opening date!

The bridge will be officially opened at 11am on Sunday 25th March. There will be food, coffee and (hopefully) bike parking in Sparks Reserve. We'd love as many people as possible to come along!

Doncaster Road hazardous road surface

Regular riders like myself would already be well aware of its deteriorating condition, particularly after the gasworks left the road shoulder in ruins. One particular hazard to be aware of is a huge potho...

Re: nails at Kew Boulevard, weekend 22/23 Feb 2014

I ride home from Richmond via the Kew Boulevard 4 times a week - I picked up my first tack on Wednesday - it took a while to get through my 38mm tyre. It could have come from somewhere else as the tyre didn't deflate until Bulleen Rd. I always ride on the off-road path when possible. Was it an old ...

Metro Tunnel design consultation - closes 15 December

Melbourne Metro Authority have released detailed draft designs of all stations and station precincts for public comment. Make sure you have a good look at the plans (the 'public realm' documents will be most relevant to bikes) and give your feedback via the survey: https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/401...

Re: Progress of Darebin bridge

Does that include the section in Wilsmere Park? There's a few 100m of path yet to be built there. I ride past it daily on my way home, and the last time I saw the construction crew there was very early this year, I think. Yes - that would be for the whole thing to open. You can't see most of the co...
