Re: How was your commute today

This evening: Thanks to the 2 cyclists who yelled out the underpass on the CCT was flooded @ Dynan road. Followed them back to footscray road and detoured through the metro trains maintenance yard. Shame someone @ metro decided to put new locks on the 2 gates so we cant get through and now have to ...

Re: Bike & Train Commuting

I have noticed catching the train this week Metro trains are painting on station platforms (on the ground) near the front of train end that bicycles aren't permitted to go in the first carriage door behind the driver. There are disabled blue symbols also painted on the platforms (also on the ground...

Re: Spotted (out of cycling gear)

Spotted a rare sight this morning, the Baudman crew in a car! It does happen, from time to time. This time it was in order for Thing1 to do this https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8715/16750123932_c2bb7dcc3f.jpg Untitled by baudman  , on Flickr Or, if later in the day, so the whippet could do this htt...

Re: How was your commute today

Little warm on the commute home this afternoon, probably due to my helmet having no working ventilation. You see I forgot to take my helmet to work today (bike was already there) so had to buy a Blue Melbourne Bike Share helmet to get me home and the end result was a hot head!

Re: The Pessimists Thread

Living left in a right world: after a lifetime of using righthanded scissors, I'm suddenly having problems with them today. Were you using them right handed? One of the best things I've gotten my left handed daughter was a pair of left handed scissors. She loved them and was able to cut things out ...

Re: How was your commute today

This morning must have been lets all go fishing in our big boats day, as I was passed by 27 towed boats between the Frankston-Dandenong/Thompsons rd roundabout and the Mcleod Rd Carrum turn-off to the Patterson River boat ramp. I normally get passed by about 5 or 6 vehicles at that time(3:55am -4:25...

15. This was a nice sight along the Moonee Ponds creek path. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v446/Frosty2/Bike/Home/2014-10-12/DSC03318.jpg Was that car just parked there? That road is the access road to/through the Metro Train North Melbourne Stabling Sidings. I've driven along there multiple ti...

Re: Ride2Work Day

This will be the first time I will have ridden in on RTW day and I'll be at work before any breakfast starts. 8( If you're close to a breakfast location, take a 20 minute break during the time and head over to grab some. :P Yeah I was thinking that if it was quiet at work I'd sneak out on the bike ...

Re: so wheres this womens thread with all the hot men/

Who's that bloke then? Not casting aspersions... but she does have very chiselled facial features, like something off the cover of a Mills and Boone novel. Well, other than the dress and heels. I don't think M&B cater to that niche. tim That bloke . I'm sure she's a lovely person, and she can c...
