Is that smoke in the distance in the Hanlan St photo, looking south, Frosty? snip, snip.. Matt, Very observant. There was a fire in Burleigh Head nature park over the weekend. It probably is still smoldering because when The Spit was on fire 2 weeks ago, it was still smoldering 4 days later. Frosty.

Today's excitement was my snake encounter. The common factor is they are spotted along the Federation Walk. Another magic day.... better than last Friday which was rather nice. The weather is simply stunning and every carpark from Labrador to The Spit is overflowing with boat trailers and cars...
