Re: Idle bike lust thread.

Are you guys still here!!!
Well, as you know I was a Scott CR1 Pro 2006 aficionado also...I'm loving my Cervelo bikes. The R3SL (2006 vintage) and the R3 (2016 vintage)

Re: Julian Paul Hit and Run Nepean Highway

I remember the report said she tried to abandon her car in Bentleigh (maybe trying to use the excuse that someone had stolen her car?) but they got her on CCTV leaving her car and walking off. Her criminal history doesn't say much in her favour either! The fact that she tried to conceal her actions...

Re: Bits for sale.

Arnies hike tent. Family size. No idea what shape this is in so if anyone is interested it can be negotiated. Maybe $50? They're my friend's old tents that I had for a while. They are in pretty good knick...there are actually TWO tents there. A great massive 8 person tent (the brown one)...and a po...

Re: Dear so and so

Dear TOZ967, It is other cars that are slowing you down, not cyclists. Swerving at cyclists and driving in the gutter and then trying to mash them against cars to your right when you are stuck in traffic only makes you look like an ignorant and desperate d1ckhead. I will obviously need to add an ext...

Re: How was your commute today

Puncture fairies got me this morning. Was riding in the bike lane up through St Kilda along the beach road and two girls riding side-by-side meant I had to move out into the car lane to pass and the instant I left the bike lane...no idea what I hit, but it was a big bang followed by the dreaded s-s...

Re: Bont Vaypor Road Shoes World Champs sz 45 $190

Can I pop over some time and try them for fit? I'm currently in a 44 Sidi...but I have Shimanos in 44 and 45 and even the 45 size MTB shoe was tight on me. But yep, definitely looking for some nice new road shoes. If you're in the city, that's easiest...otherwise I could head over maybe late Sunday ...

Re: TDF tour recommendations

Sports Tours International (STI) are about the cheapest outfit out there but offer quite a good service and always improving. I've been on two of their TDF tours now and loved each one. Though I did it with a couple of mates and we pretty much did our own thing once they let us out of the bus (or we...

Re: Hell Ride crash

Lots of tickets for "lack of bells" perhaps? It has precedence: “During these checks we found that the riders failed to have a bell fitted as required by law, which is of concern as participants in the Hell Ride often travel at speeds in excess of 50km/h,” Sen-Sgt Cormack said. 2014 At 50...
