Re: MRR Annual Dinner

No, I haven't ridden an MRR in the last 12 months, but food tempts me. I'm going overseas for a month on the 7th, so not sure if I could spare the time to come out. Decisions, decisions... You know the rules, gotta ride a MRR to be invited to the dinner. Come on... dust off your Scott! ;) I buggere...

Re: Forums have been upgraded

Is there a reason to turn off HTML in posts? They don't work now and I don't find any option to turn them back on. Getting stuck on BBCode is a bit backwards, methinks. It's a phpBB thing (version 3 removed support for html tags). There is some discussion about it earlier in this thread. Thanks, I ...

Re: Indoor Archery?

heh.. Kenneth I wound it all the way down. Thats as low as it goes. Supposed to go from 45 to 70 but it is bound to have lost a bit.. being stuck under the bed wound up all the way for the last 15 years Maybe 40lbs is my limit and I just can't draw 45 or 50 lbs. My upper body strength is nothing to...

Would of had some fun with that

Neither could I draw his bow. I suspect it's not 40lbs as Dave claimed. Might be 60 or 70lbs. Back when I was training on a 40lbs recurve, I tried drawing a 60/70lbs compound and wasn't able to draw it.

Re: Indoor Archery?

Refresh my memory: does the cock feather point towards you or away from you when nocked? I think it's towards you, but it's been a long time since I've handled a bow. Kenneth assuming you are shooting a recurve the cock feather points towards you so it does not foul the arrow rest as it goes throug...
