Re: Where is everyone?

I think it's a simple case of Facebook taking over the world. I used to check a number of websites very day, including this one, but now I just go to FB and only the external links suggested in my newsfeed. That behaviour of mine started around the same time I had my first child in 2011 (and my oppo...

Re: Cargobike canopy from trailer

Well Aldi have a trailer for $90 this weekend, and as long as it is not longer than the Bullitt platform, it should require no sewing.

Cargobike canopy from trailer

I'm thinking of butchering a cheap bike trailer to make a canopy for the platform on my Bullitt cargobike. Has anybody done this or similar, or seen it done?

Selling two of my bikes

I am pruning my bike collection a little -- my needs have changed somewhat since having a baby, and I'm going to have another so it's only going to get worse for a few years! If you are interested in having a look, the bikes are here (vintage Peugeot mixte): http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Peugeot-Vintag...

Doh! I just gave my secret away. Though it's kind of difficult to hide in-person.

I could actually come today. On a bike no less. Unfortunately unable to partake in beer drinking tho... And earlier would be better than later. A 4 or 4:30pm start would be ideal... Anyone else?

Was great to see you all -- my first Goat in ages, and baby Katrina's first Goat ever. We had a public transport day: trains, trams, a bus and a taxi. Home safe.

Re: N+1 has arrived!

Cory, I think it's largely thanks to your educating me about cargo bikes that we have this one. Seeing how you managed your life with one as regular transport made us think 'we can do that too' and since Sam and I were both committed to the idea it made sense to buy early and buy well! There is a no...

Re: N+1 has arrived!

Cory, at what age would you have started thing2 riding in the capsule? K seems a bit scared by loud road noises and jolts at the moment, though she loves the car.

N+1 has arrived!

It's actually a bit pre-emptive as the little passenger is currently a little too little for it, but this seems to be my best chance at life back on a bike as a mum! How cool is it?! Needs a different saddle and the capsule bracket fitted, but it's ready to ride! http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...

AnnieG & SammyG have a Baby!

She is Katrina Margaret Born at home in water on 15 April, quick labour, no drugs, bloody hard work! 3.36kg. On 14 April, I rode to the city for lunch, and later on, worked a couple of hours at the bike shop. The last thing I did on Thursday was order parts for our N+1 (a Milk Plus Bullitt). We had ...
