Re: How was your commute today

A younger rider on a dutch bike, basket and all, passed us on Southbank Promenade right into the clutches of the police speed trap. She must have been riding all of 20 kph, such a danger to all around her. She was on the end of a stern telling off (as far as I can tell) by the time we rode past. Ba...

Re: Meat & 3 Veg

Harrisa-spiced meatballs in an eclectic* tomato sauce with patatas bravas**. Actually worked quite well - surprisingly *eclectic insofar as I chucked in leftover slow-cooked brisket sauce and leftover enchilada sauce into a basic tomato sauce **kinda, sorta, squint-a-bit. Sauteed some potatoes, spr...

Wanted:8/9/10 speed Shimano 700c wheels rim brakes

I need up to 3 additional 8/9/10 speed rear wheels 700c wheels to get back to all my bikes having their own wheels, looking for something going in the under $100 without adding to my excess of front wheels.

Ideally under 5k from Kew so I could pickup.

Re: How was your recreational ride today?

Tried the nearby shared trails through the wetlands and along the Patterson River yesterday. OMG it was so busy that I felt like I was in a video game - people riding, walking, running, phone zombieing, randomly stopping in the middle of the trail, dogs, prams, toddlers, you name it  I have ...

Re: How was your commute today

I've gone one better by not working at all, currently underemployed and doing school drop off and then disappearing for 2-3 hours of cruising.

After that I start on the jobs from the household Trello board.
